Working principle
The instrument analysis method adopts the isoniazid barbituric acid spectrophotometric method. Under weakly acidic conditions, cyanide in the water sample reacts with chloramine T to generate hydrogen chloride, which then reacts with isoniazid to hydrolyze and form pentenal. Finally, it reacts with barbituric acid to form a purple blue compound, and the absorbance is measured at a wavelength of 600 nm. The results obtained by this method are consistent with the national standard "Determination of Cyanide in Water Quality - Volumetric and spectrophotometric methods" (HJ484-2009), ensuring the accuracy and effectiveness of the monitoring data.
